Wonderfull Day in My Garden

This is part of my Garden as it was ,We have had a lot of success with out Paw Paw Trees 'they were so small when this photo was taken . I will when I have finished mulching and replanting take more photos .they are arround 1300 mm tall ..I hope they will fruit in 2009.

My Garden is a work in progress 'the soil is poor and hard so I have had to try and make it a no dig Garden ..this has worked to some extent ..but it really needs to have heaps more Mulch

applied ... this is very hard work for me ..but Oh I do so love it.

The Brown netting you see was to stop the crows and Cuckoo Birds from takeing my strawberries.

A Lot of my Garden has had to be made with self watering pots .due to the water restrictions ..but I have worked out what will and wont grow well in these pots ..more photos of the updates will follow in futher Blogs.

I feel so alive in my Garden it is a lot smaller then I have ever had before ..but due to my failing health , just enough to keep me happy.

New Year Resolutions 2009

Top of the List is of Course Keeping myself as Healthy as I can

(2) Loseing at least 30 kgs

(4) Doing more Exercise

(5) If I managed only 3 Hospital Stays in 2008 then maybe None for 2009

(6) Try to not miss my Family in Tasmania too much (hard Task)

(7) To manage to do my own Housework without Homehelp

(8) Spend more time in my Garden

(9) To get on the Bus that runs past my door

(10) To Thank God everday for allowing me a bit more time On the Earth to share with My Beloved Husband and My Wonderfull Children and Friends.

New Year 2009 Resolutions

Think it is time to make some New Year Resolutions.

Christmas

All But one of our Children ..were present at 2008 Christmas ..Gayle our Eldest lives in Tasmania ..We had an early Christmas in Early December with her ..She spent 2 weeks with us and family ..we had an updated Family Photo done ..while she was visiting .

Our Son and his Family are moving to Tasmania also Son leaves on 11th Janruary and starts a new Job on the 12th ..His Fathers 71st Birthday . His wife and Daughter will follow after there Daughter has surgery done Jan or Feb.. also this gives them time to sell their Home .

I have gained 5 kgs in weight ..so as of today I am working on getting it and about another 30 kgs off ..

Here is Gayle Our First Born,Our Mrs Bucket loves entertaining (and does it so well) this Photo was taken at Our Christmas Lunch in Her and Husband Camerons Beautifull home in Brisbane they now live down in Tasmania ..another very large Home ..Hubby and I have yet to visit and when we have the money and Our Health is right we hope to make the Journey down ..

A Look Back in Time

This Photo was taken in an on Site Caravan at Bribie Island we owned we had our Touring Caravan parked next to it ..ready and waiting for out next Adventure ,,The on site Van was our Base ...We had such wonderfull Dreams ..of the adventures we were going to have ..But Life goes on and we can not ever look back with regret ...If we managed to move on after the Loss of our Twins, then not travelling was minor in comparison..God Bless our Babies. and Our Grandparents Parents and Sister and Brothers and our Nephews Tony and Peter ..you are all remembered with Love and will never be forgotten.

Berys One Day at a Time

Hello World ....

As my Title says I now take life one Day at a time ...this is a new way of faceing things and life in general for me ..untill now I have had to know what is happening ...who is doing it and when ...But heh Life is to short , I am getting older I am 65 years old ..Have Heart and Renal Failure and more ..but not important ..the important thing is ..I am alive ..I am reasonably well ...I am Happy ..My Husband is the Love of my Life we have been married 48 years tomorrow 28th October and I love him as much now as I did the day we were Married ..We have Four Daughters and One Son ..and they have given us much Joy a few headaches LOL but mostly love ...they in turn have have given us Four Grandaughters and One Grandson ...they are growing up so fast ..and I have to wonder where have all the years have gone .. I know I enjoyed them and I hope the Family enjoyed them as much as I did .

Our Dream was to be Grey Nomads ..we bought our Caravan set it up started doing small trips to get the feel ...then Illness stepped in , and Travel was out of the Picture for me ..so after the Van sitting for two years we sold it ...I was in Hospital when it went ..I was so sad .. but did not let Hubby know he was feeling the same as me so tried to cheer him ..but we have so many photos of the Beautifull places we went .
